Don’t miss this opportunity to see both your favourite Swedish Singer/Songwriter and my favourite. :) OFFICIAL SXSW SHOWCASE: Wednesday Mar 17 2010 - 9:00pm St David’s Historic Sanctuary , Austin, TX, US With Suzanne Vega These are all my showcases at SxSW this year… not bad at all. :) *SHOW SCHEDULE* Worlsound Booth Austin, TX Wed Mar 17 03:00PM St David’s Historic Sanctuary Austin, TX Wed Mar 17 09:00PM Guero’s Taco Bar Austin, TX Thu Mar 18 12:00PM Little Fields Building Rooftop Austin, TX Thu Mar 18 07:30PM Worldsound Booth Austin, TX Fri Mar 19 01:00PM Wyndham Hotel Austin, TX Fri Mar 19 06:00PM Wyndham Hotel Austin, TX Sat Mar 20 06:00PM > See More / Details **AOL covers me at SXSW > ** AOL and Spinner.com covers SXSW this year and did an interview with me. SXSW > might be all about the beer, BBQ and bands but things are much more gentle in the world of Sofia Talvik > . Crafting delicate moments of peace on her acoustic guitar Sofia is independent in every sense of the word, releasing all her material through the label she owns with her husband (also her manager). Having released two albums so far and worked with former Suede man turned producer Bernard Butler, Sofia will release her third album ‘Florida’ in May. Spinner caught up with her ahead of her trip to Austin for SXSW. READ IT HERE > I’m doing a bunch of gigs at SXSW don’t miss out , I’ll play a lot of the new songs from my upcoming album ‘Florida’. **No country for old men > ** We’re on the road. Stuck in a too small pick up truck. The only upside is the Jack Daniels for the guys and the scenery for me. Tonight we’re staying at a really lousy motel. Motel 6 would look like the Hilton compared to this . Well at least I have wifi so I can do my blogs, check my emails and all that. We’ve been joking about staying at a motel like the ones in “No country for old men” and now we are. We walked to a Mexican restaurant across the street and while we were in there the guys spotted a man that looked EXACTLY like the guy in “No country for old men”. I tried to take a picture of him with my iPhone, it’s not great but you’ll see. I’m really looking forward to coming to Austin so we can decide our own pace and our own stuff and have some fun and play some music. Check out the guy in the back The real deal An here’s some “on the road” picture Beautiful scenery in California the back seat crew on the road Janne met a giant roadrunner Welcome to Texas»»»»»>
